SP's Manipur unit merges with BJP

Imphal, Jul 25 (UNI) The Manipur Samajwadi Party, led by party president S Dhananjoy, has merged with the BJP.

BJP state president H Borobabu here today said he had accepted the joining of Dr Dhananjoy and all the members of the SP.

Dr Borobabu said this would strengthen the party.

Mr Dhananjoy said as the SP's Manipur unit was dissolved on July 15, they had decided to join the BJP enmasse.

The merger was effected without any condition, he stated.
