Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.23 per Dollar

Mumbai, July 25 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US dollar at Rs 42.23 per unit, up by 27 paise against its yesterday's rate of Rs 41.96 per dollar.

The reference rate for Euro was quoted 59 paise up at Rs 66.41 per unit, against yesterday's rate of Rs 65.82.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 83.8878 (83.7836) per Pound and Rs 39.58 (38.90) per 100 units respectively, a data received from RBI said.
