Overall situation improves considerably in Patna

Patna,Jul 25(UNI) After two days of dry spell, Patna and its adjoining areas today experienced mild drizzle, though the temparature remained extremely humid.

The local Met office forecasting more shower tonight, said only about 1.1 mm of rainfall was recorded during the past 24 hours with the sky remaining cloudy most of the time.

The day's maximum temperature was pegged at 30.0 degree celcius in comparison to yesterday's 31.2 degree celcius, while the minimum was 26 degree Celcius compared to yesterday's 25.4 degree Celcius.

Meanwhile, in order to prevent outbreak of any disease and other epidemics in areas where there was no more waterlogging, Patna Municipal Corporation employees had been spreading DDTs and bleaching powder.

They were also urging people through public address system to drink only boiled water as a precautionary step.
