Hercules set for big screen adaptation

Washington, July 25 : 'Hancock' director Peter Berg is set to take the hit TV series 'Hercules' to the 70mm silver screen.

Berg is set to produce and direct 'Hercules: The Thracian Wars', reports Contactmusic.

The film will be an adaptation of a five-issue comic book series released in May this year.

However, the cast of the film is yet to be finalised.

The actor/director is also planning to remake 1984 flick classic 'Dune' based on Frank Herbert's sci-fi novel.

The 1984 classic was directed by David Lynch and starred Sting and Kyle MACLachlan.
