GPCC pleads for Cabinet berth at Centre
Panaji, Jul 25 (UNI) The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) today renewed its plea for representation in the Union Cabinet at the earliest.
Interacting with newspersons here, GPCC president and MP Francisco Sardinha said a resolution to this effect has already been sent to the Party high command.
He said he was confident that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would consider the plea soon.
He also congratulated the Prime Minister for winning the vote of confidence in Parliament on July 22 and wished that the Indo-US nuclear deal would be operationalised soon, to meet the galloping demand for power.
