Dawood's nephew arrested in another extortion case

Mumbai, Jul 25 (UNI) Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's nephew Sajid Wagle was arrested by Anti Extortion Cell (AEC) of city police late last night, on charges of demanding extortion money of Rs one lakh per month from a cable operator at Dongri in South Mumbai.

Wagle (37) had demanded Rs one lakh per month from a cable operator to allow him to run his business smoothly in Dongri area, AEC officials said here today.

Wagle, who was also into cable business, was earlier arrested on February 27 this year, for threatening a cable operator to make him a partner in his business. Later, Wagle was let out on bail in the case.

Wagle is Dawood's elder sister Saeeda's son and resided at Mazgaon, officials added.
