Congress to contest Pale seat against NCP claim
Panaji, Jul 25 (UNI) Debunking the claim of its coalition partner NCP, the Congress today reiterated its resolve to contest the Pale assembly seat in Goa that fell vacant following the demise of its legislator.
Speaking to newsperrsons, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee president Francisco Sardinha said the Pale seat was held by the Congress, hence, logically it should go to the Party.

The NCP had also authorised state revenue minister Jose Phillip D'Souza to convey the decision to the party high command in Delhi today.
