3 killed as bike hits tree

Vijayawada, July 25 (UNI) Three people were killed on the spot when a motor bike on which they were travelling, hit a road side tree at Manduru village in West Godavari district, about 80 km from here, today.

Police said the trio, who were on their way to Kamavarapukota from Eluru lost control of the vehicle when the accident occurred.

The deceased were identified as Penta Raju (24), Rajesh (24) and Siva Krishna (23).

The bodies were shifted to Eluru Government Hospital for post-mortem, police added.
