2 held under Goonda Act

Kancheepuram, July 25 (UNI) Two anti-socials were arrested under the Goondas Act and sent to the Chennai Central Prison yesterday.

Police said Manoharan (25) of Chengalpattu used to issue fake bills to sand lorries making huge money out of it while Guna (30) of Sriperumbudur was involved in several murder and attempt-to-murder cases.

The duo were arrested after District Collector Santosh K Mishra gave the orders detaining them under the Goondas Act. They were taken to the Chennai Central Prison.
