Two ultras gunned down in Manipur

Imphal, Jul 24 (UNI) Two suspected militants were shot dead in two separate incidents last night at Imphal East and Thoubal districts in the state.

Police today said a militant was shot dead during a shoot-out between the ultras and a combined team of Imphal East district police commandos and troops of 39 Assam Rifles at Imphal East.

Meanwhile, another militant was shot dead at Yairipok Moirang Palli in Thoubal district last night , police informed.
