AP: Tourism and Travel Fair (TTF) begins
Hyderabad, Jul 24: Delegates from five foreign countries will take part in the three-day 63rd edition of the Tourism and Travel Fair (TTF) here from today.
Talking to newspersons here, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department Director Sabyasachi Ghosh said industry stakeholders from Egypt, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirites (UAE) and Thailand would participate in the fair.
The event, organised by the Fairfest Media Limited, was supported by the Centre, Travel Agents Association of India and Pacific Asia Travel Association(PATA), he said.
Mr Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, Fairfest Media Limited, said the TTF would provide an opportunity to make travel plans, gather information on various national and international destinations, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators and travel airlines.
''Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM is the official trade partner,'' he added.
The TTF would be held in Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Surat in August followed by Chennai and Bangalore (January 2009), Mumbai and New Delhi (February 2009), Mr Agarwal said.
