Son kills drunkard father

Nashik, Jul 24 (UNI) A 21-year-old son killed his father, allegedly due to the drinking habit of latter, in Shirwade Wakad village of Niphad taluka of the district here.

According to police, the victim Ashok Gorari (52), was living with his wife and two sons, the full family was earning its livelihood by working as labourer except Ashok, who was doing no work, used to sell valuables from the house to satisfy his addiction for liquor.

Yesterday he sold the wood gathered as fuel for cooking, angry over this, his 21-year-old elder son Dilip attacked him with a sharp weapen after which, Ashok died. Local police arrested Dilip and a case has been registered against him under section 32 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
