Punjab: 6 killed as mini bus collides with tractor

Amritsar, Jul 24: Six people were killed and 10 others injured when a mini bus collided with a harvesting combine near Naushara Panwan in Tarn Taran distict today.

One of the deceased was identified Bikar Singh, Gunman of the Tarn Taran Deputy Commissioner. The remaining were being identified, police sources said.

While three of the injured were admitted to the civil hospital at Tarn Taran, seven wounded were brought to the civil hospital at Amritsar.

The mishap occured when the mini bus, which was coming from Harike and going towards Tarn Taran, tried to overtake the combine and overturned after colliding with it.
