Flour-mill owner fined Rs 5 lakh for power theft

Sehore, Jul 24: A local court convicted an 80-year-old villager for using power illegaly to run a flour-mill and imposed a fine of about Rs five lakh.

According to prosecution a case of power theft was registered on April 8,2005 against Gheesulal, who was the resident of Sewania village of Sehore tahsil. Additional Sessions Judge Mahesh Bhadkaria delievered verdict on Tuesday July 22 and fined Gheesulal with Rs 4,9,460 or, in default, to undergo imprisonment for three years.
