PML-Q chief Shujaat Hussain says PPP has set aside Benazir's vision
Lahore, July 24 : PML-Q president and former Pakistan premier, Ch Shujaat Hussain has said that the present PPP-led Government was no more following its slain leader Benazir Bhutto's policy and vision.
He said that had Benazir been alive today, the country would not be facing its current crises.
Shujaat said this while addressing his party workers in Lahore.
The present government had distributed only inflation and unrest among the people, and no single party could resolve the country's problems solely, the Daily Times quoted him as saying.
He added that all the parties would have to offer their inputs in this regard.
Shujaat asked Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to consult parliament before travelling to the US. He said the investigation of Khalid Shahenshah's murder should also be handled by the UN. Also speaking on the occasion, party Secretary General Mushahid Hussain said that the people who had termed the previous government a dictatorship were completely ignoring the functioning of the current parliament.
