Monsoon session to conclude on July 26
Mumbai, Jul 24 (UNI) The ongoing monsoon session of the Maharashtra legislature will conclude on July 26, announced state parliamentary affairs minister Harshwardhan Patil in the assembly today.
Giving the details about the session after the business advisory committee meeting, he said it has been decided that the winter session at Nagpur will be of three weeks. Earlier, it was decided that the monsoon session will continue till August one.
One week was curtailed as the legislators have to visit their constituencies in view of severe drought, he said adding that the week would be adjusted by increasing a week in the winter session.
With this announcement, the two-week monsoon session is expected to run for nine working days.
