Man held in Ujjain with counterfeit currency
Ujjain, Jul 24: A youth was arrested with counterfeit amounting to Rs 19,800 in denominations of Rs 1000, Rs 500 and Rs 100 at Chhatri Chowk here on Wednesday, July 23 night, police said on Thursday, July 24.
City Superintendent of Police Arvind Tiwari said on a tip-off from Nagar Suraksha Samiti member, local-resident Murtaza Hussain was held. Another accused Hussain, resident of Bhopal, was absconding, police added.
