IFFCO bags Smart Workplace Award

New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) The Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd (IFFCO) has bagged the prestigious Economic Times, Acer and Intel Smart Workplace Award in the Manufacturing and Industrial Segment.

The award was received by S C Mittal, Executive Director (MS&IT) and A K Gupta, Deputy General Manager (Systems).

The Award was instituted by the Economic Times, Acer and Intel Corporation with the objective of recognising companies which have set up smart offices and have used technology to simplify the lives of their employees and enhance their productivity.

The criteria was that the offices should have strong connectivity, security and automated systems, employees welfare facilities like health, medical, recreation and modern office infrastructure.

The category of award was based on the size of the organization and verticals such as Financial Services, FMCG, Information Technology, Manufacturing and Infrastructure.

Out of 550 entries, 90 were shortlisted on the parameters devised by PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Each of shortlisted company was then visited by a jury from PriceWaterhouseCoopers and the Economic Times.
