Idea Cellular's net slips 12.6% to Rs 269.53 cr

New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) Idea Cellular Ltd, one of the leading telecom giants of the country, posted 12.6 per cent decline in its net profit to Rs 269.53 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 308.62 crore in the corresponding period previous year.

The company's total income however, increased 47.3 per cent to Rs 2,177.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 1,477.53 crore in the same period last fiscal.
