HSAMB builds 1247 km roads in Haryana
Chandigarh, Jul 24 (UNI) The Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB) has constructed new link roads of about 1247 km length at a cost of Rs 156.30 crore during the last three years.
A Board spokesman said the works of about 1540 km length of new roads costing about Rs 215 crore were also in progress. The work of special repair of 2157 km length of link roads had been completed by the Board during the same period with an expenditure of about Rs 144.85 crore.
The work of repair of about 1150 km length were in progress which were scheduled to be completed by the end of this financial year.
He said the administrative approvals amounting to Rs 525 crore had been granted to various works relating to development of new mandis and providing additional facilities in existing mandis in more than three years tenure.
Expenditure to the tune of Rs 195 crore had been incurred so far. At present, works amounting to Rs 330 crore were in progress.
