HC to view CD on narco-analysis in Sister Abhaya Case

Kochi, Jul 24 (UNI) Kerala High Court today adjourned to August 4 the hearing in the 'Sister Abhaya Case' to view the compact disc submitted by the CBI containing visuals of the narco-analysis tests conducted by it.

Justice V Ramakumar, hearing a petition filed by M Thomas, father of the deceased nun, had earlier directed the CBI to submit in the court the CD containing the visuals of the narco-analysis tests conducted on Father Jose Puthrikae, Father Thomas Kottur and Sr Sephy last year.

In his petition, Mr Thomas complained the CBI was not conducting the investigation expeditiously.

The body of the 21-year-old nun was found in a well in the St Pius Convent at Kottayam in March, 1992. She was allegedly sexually assaulted before her death.
