BJP exhibiting negative political behaviour: Singhvi

Indore, July 24 (UNI) Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi today alleged that the BJP had exhibited negative political behaviour with its MPs waving wads of notes before the trust vote in Parliament.

''When the BJP realised that the Congress-led UPA Government is winning vote of confidence under the leadership of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, instead of admitting defeat it played drama,'' Mr Singhvi told reporters here.

He said the BJP MPs, who waved wads of notes in Parliament, already had a tainted image. He asked why these MPs did not inform the House on Monday, or inform the Speaker, press or police and said this showed it was all pre-planned.

Rejecting cross-voting by some BJP MPs, Mr Singhvi said the Congress had nothing to do with them. It was the internal matter of the BJP, which was unable to keep its house in order and levelling allegations on the Congress.

He claimed that the Congress did not believe in the politics of horse-trading.
