Bharti Airtel Q1 net up 44.86 pc at Rs 2,046.79 cr
New Delhi, Jul 24: Bharti Airtel Ltd, the country's top mobile operator, on Thursday, July 24 said its net profit has increased 44.86 per cent to Rs 2,046.79 crore for the first quarter ended June 2008 as compared to Rs 1,412.92 crore during the same period last fiscal.
The company's total revenue for Q1 FY09 has gone up 39.72 per cent to Rs 7,952.32 crore whereas it was Rs 5,691.45 crore during Q1 FY08. The Group's net profit stood at Rs 2,166.68 crore for the quarter ended June 2008 as compared to Rs 1,424.22 crore for the quarter ended June 2007, registering a growth of 52.13 per cent.
Its total income for Q1 FY09 also increased 43.81 per cent to Rs 8,567.58 crore from Rs 5,957.22 crore in Q1 FY08.
