ACC Q1 net dips 21.5% at Rs 271.42 cr
New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) ACC Ltd, the country's biggest cement maker, today said its net profit has declined 21.51 per cent to Rs 271.42 crore for the second quarter ended June 2008 as compared to Rs 345.83 crore during the corresponding period last year.
The company's total income for Q2 this fiscal decreased 2.21 per cent to Rs 1,869.03 crore whereas it was Rs 1,911.36 crore in Q2 last fiscal.
The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 255.07 crore for the quarter ended June 2008 as compared to Rs 349.02 crore for the quarter ended June 2007, registering a decline of 26.91 per cent.
Its total income for current fiscal's Q2, however, increased 1.24 per cent to Rs 1,967.41 crore from Rs 1,943.19 crore during the same period a year ago.
