2 held for drinking alcohol in cinema hall

Rajkot, Jul 24 (UNI) An advocate and his friend were arrested after they were caught drinking alcohol during the show at Galaxy Cinema hall here.

After receiving a tip-off, police conducted a raid last evening in the Theatre and caught -- advocate Vanrajsinh Zala and Sahadevsinh Jadeja -- along with a bottle of an country-made foreign liquor from the possession, police said.

Police have registered the offence under the Prohibition Act and sent them for a medical test.

It may recalled that on July 16, two police head constables were arrested for 'drinking' alcohol at Sadar Police Chowki (police station) here during their duty time.
