Two held for looting Rs 3 lakh in Maharashtra
Nashik, Jul 23: Police arrested two miscreants of a gang of robbers who were trying to escape after looting Rs three lakh from a trader at Bank Colony of Malegaon.
According to sources, the eight offenders entered the room of Hasmukhbai Patel, hailing from Gujarat, last evening, and escaped with the amount after tying him with a rope.
A nearby garage owner chased these people and informed the police about them.
Police immediately swung into action and arrested -- Mohammed Younus and Kisan Sharma -- while the six others went absconding.
Police seized Rs 2,14,000 from the duo's possession.
A case has been registered with Malegaon City police in this regard.
