Transport fare increases by 14 per cent in J and K

Srinagar, Jul 23 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered revision of fare structure of various types of stage carriage and contract carriage.

An official spokesman today said the state Transport Authority has been directed to revise the fare structure with 14 per cent increase in the existing rates in respect of 52 seated buses.

For mini buses, 11 per cent in respect of Tata Sumo Contract carriage and 10 per cent in respect of Auto-Rickshaw has also been ordered.
