Land allocation for IIITM under consideration: Kerala CM
Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 23 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today told the state Assembly that the government was examining the possibility for providing land at Pallipuram, near here, for setting up a permanent campus for the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM).
Replying to a submission, he said the request for a permanent campus for the IIITM was under active consideration of the government.
The government had earlier allotted ten acres of land at the Techopark here for the IIITM but later the land was given to Tata Consultancy Services for setting up their training centre.
