Lakshmi Machine's Q1 net slips 3%

{image-lakshmi padam_23072008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Jul 23: Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd today said its net profit has slipped 3 per cent to Rs 47.73 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 49.25 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. The company's total income also decreased 3.2 per cent to Rs 484.29 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 500.62 crore in the same period a year earlier.
