Coming Soon: 'The Simpsons' big screen sequel

London, July 23 : Fans of the hit comedy 'The Simpsons' can rejoice as Homer and his family are heading back to the big screen.

Creator Matt Groening decided to create the sequel seeing the phenomenal box office reception of the first Simpsons movie last year. The movie raked in a whopping 250 million pounds.

However the 54-year-old cartoonist hasn't specified as to when the movie will be ready to release.

"It will happen at some point, but I have no idea when," the sun quoted Matt Groening, as saying

"The first one took us four years, mainly because we don't like to work any harder than we usually do. It's going to be a while but we'll get to it, I'm sure," he added.
