BSP MLA's judicial remand extended till Aug 4

Etah, Jul 23 (UNI) Judicial remand of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Sri Bhagwan Sharma alias Guddi Pandit, presently incarcerated in Kanpur district jail over sexual harassment of a girl, has been extended till August 4.

The BSP MLA was today produced in Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) court, where the ACJM increased the judicial custody of the accused further till August 4, Superintendent of Police, Kashiramnagar Luv Kumar said.

The BSP MLA from Dibai Sri Bhagwan Sharma was an accused in a case of sexual exploitation of a girl in Kasganj.

On June 30, the MLA was arrested near Noida, from where he was brought to Kasganj and later sent to Kanpur district jail.
