BJD MP takes revenge on Naveen

Bhubaneswar, Jul 23 (UNI) Biju Janata Dal(BJD) Lok Sabha member Hari Swain who was expelled yesterday from the party for casting his vote in favour of the UPA in the trust vote,today said he wanted to give a ''shock treatment'' to party supremo Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik The Chief Minister while expelling Mr.Swain yesterday said the BJD MP from Aska has betrayed the BJD and deceived lakhs of people who have voted him as BJD candidate in the last Lok Sabha elections.

He further said proceedings would be initiated against Mr Swain and the Lok Sabha Speaker would be approached to disqualify him from the Lok Sabha.

Mr.Swain who arrived here from Delhi,told newspersons that his vote should be treated as a vote against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

'' I wanted to take revenge on the Chief Minister and party President who had suspended me for three years'',the BJD MP said adding that the Chief Minister had done nothing for Ganjam,his home district during the last eight years.
