Award for eye surgeon in Madhya Pradesh

Indore, Jul 23: ''Dr M C Nahata Rashtriya Netra Suraksha Puraskar'' would be presented to Rajasthan's Pali-resident Rajmal Sheshmal Jain this year for his outstanding service for eye protectin and prevention of blindness.

''This award is given to medical and non-medical sector in alternate years. This year, it would be given to medical sector'', National Society for Prevention of Blindness sources said, adding that the award comprises Rs 51,000 in cash and a citation.

Madhya Pradesh High Court Chief Justice A K Patnaik would confer the award on July 27, sources added.
