APCC congratulates UPA Government

Itanagar, Jul 23 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today congratulated Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and AICC president Sonia Gandhi on winning the Trust Vote in Parliament yesterday.

The APCC termed it as the victory of poor and common people of the country and programmes&policies of the UPA Government.

Stating this victory was the waterloo for the communal and fascist forces, particularly the BJP, APCC vice-president and former MP Nabam Rebia said the Indo-US civil nuclear deal, opposed by certain vested interests, was very unfortunate.

Condemning the dual policy of the NDA, the party termed that the alliance between the BJP and the Left Front as ''unholy''.

The victory in the Trust Vote was the endorsement of the policies and programmes of the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre, Mr Rebia said adding this was also the beginning of the end and total eclipse of communal and fascist forces.
