Additional free baggage allowance for students by Air India
Mumbai, Jul 23 (UNI) With a view to promote student travel, Air India has announced a special free extra- baggage allowance for students travelling to the West, Far East and South East Asian countries on its flights till October 31, 2008.
The additional baggage allowance will also be applicable to students travelling from interior points in India on Air India/IC domestic flights and connecting to Air India flight to US, provided they are travelling on a through ticket, a release said.
To avail the special offer, students should possess student visa.
The facility of additional free baggage allowance is available only for outbound journeys, the release added.
