Trust vote to send out right signals to world: PM
New Delhi, Jul 22 (UNI) Expressing displeasure over the BJP bringing in currency notes into the Lok Sabha, claiming it to be bribe money, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tonight said the Government would extend full cooperation in bringing out the truth.
''I am extremely sad. If its true, we will cooperate to see that the truth is established,'' he told reporters after his Government won the vote of confidence.
The PM said he was grateful to all MPs who voted for the Government for delivering a convincing victory.
''This vote will send a message to the world that India's head and heart are sound and that India is prepared to take its rightful place in the comity of nations,'' he said.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said he was disgusted at the shocking incident inside the House.
