Thermax Q1 net up by 13.7 pc at Rs 63.70 cr

New Delhi, Jul 22: Thermax Ltd on Tuesday, July 22 said, its net profit has surged 13.7 per cent to Rs 63.70 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 56.01 crore in the same period previous year.

The company's total income also increased 7.51 per cent to Rs 727.15 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 676.30 crore in the same period last fiscal. The Group's net profit jumped 5.01 per cent to Rs 58.42 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 55.63 crore in the corresponding period previous year. The total income increased 8.1 per cent to Rs 782.99 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 723.88 crore for the same quarter previous year.
