SIMI leader remanded to police custody in MP
Indore, Jul 22: Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) leader Ameel Parvez, who was detained recently along with other members of outfit, was remanded to police custody till July 25 for interrogation in connection with an e-mail about possible terrorist attack here and other places in western Madhya Pradesh.
Indore police produced Parvez before the court here yesterday and sought his remand.
Parvez, a relative of SIMI top leader Sarfaraz, was under detention in connection with unlawful activities. SIMI leaders were arrested from their hideouts in Indore, Dewas and other places in western MP recently.
