Shilpa Shetty launches Yoga video on Net

Mumbai, Jul 22 (UNI) Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty today launched ''Shilpa's Yoga'' on popular movie and television website ''bigflix.com'' here.

''Strange as it seems, though Yoga was invented in India, it is not valued or cherished here as it is in other parts of the world'', a radiant looking Shilpa Shetty said at the launch.

Shilpa said yoga had nothing to do with religion and her video should be accessible to everyone. ''Just Chanting ''Om'' doesn't turn a Muslim or a Christian into a Hindu. It is not connected to religion but can make one more spiritual,'' she said.

She said it is important to educate the youth on the right kind of a lifestyle. While some abuse their bodies with dieting, the rest indulge themselves in junk like french fries.

Yoga is a slow but not a time consuming process that stretches the muscles, calms your nerves, make you feel younger and is the single most effective method of being healthy, she said.
