Mr Pramod Kumar Rastogi is new Steel Secretary

New Delhi, Jul 22 (UNI) The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr Pramod Kumar Rastogi as the new Steel Secretary.

Mr Rastogi, IAS (AP:74), who was earlier holding the post of Special Secretary, Ministry of Defence, takes over from Mr R S Pandey, IAS (NL:72), on his relinquishing charge, it was announced here today.

Mr Atul Chaturvedi, IAS( UP:74), Special Secretary and Financial Advisor, Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development, will be the new Secretary, Department of Fertilisers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers following the voluntary retirement of Dr J Sreedhara Sarma, IAS(AP:71) on July 27.
