Eva Longoria Parker 'can't wait' to have kids

Washington, July 22 : With her character in Desperate Housewives turning into a homemaker with two kids, American actress Eva Longoria Parker is looking to do the same off-screen as well.

"I can't wait!" People magazine quoted Parker, 33, as saying after a press conference announcing the 2008 Alma Awards.

Longoria Parker had sparked rumours after she was photographed off the coast of Italy in a bikini looking slightly fuller than normal in early July.

But her rep has said the actress put on weight to play the part of Gabrielle this season.

The 2008 Alma Awards air on ABC on Sept. 12 and highlight the work of Latino actors in film and television.

Longoria Parker, the host and executive producer of the show, attended Alma announcement with actor Cristi n de la Fuente on July 21.
