Child kidnapped, murdered by aunt's lover

New Delhi, Jul 22 (UNI) The Delhi Police have detected a case of kidnapping and murder of a child from the Dwarka area of West Delhi by the lover of his aunt.

Eight-year-old Salman, who went missing from his house in Dwarka on July 20 evening, was found murdered last evening.

According to the police, Salman was kidnapped by accused Piyush as he was sore over child's father Salim Khan separating him from his lover Roshni, the aunt of the child who had eloped with Piyush nine months ago and was living with him.

Apparently, Piyush wanted Salim Khan to return Roshni to him in return for freeing the child. After negotiations between Salim and Piyush failed, a complaint was lodged in the Dwarka police station yesterday.

Later in the evening, the police found the body of an eight-year-old from Nangloi with his throat slit with a knife, who was identified found to be Salman.

A hunt is on for Piyush, police said.
