Woman raped by motor training school owner, friend

New Delhi, Jul 21 (UNI) A 24-year-old woman was allegedly raped by the owner of a motor training school after being drugged in New Friends Colony area of south Delhi.

The woman, who was presently living with her parents, was raped yesterday evening in a flat in the colony, according to a police official.

''The woman had gone to learn driving at the Royal Motor Training College in Hazrat Nizamuddin area where she was offered tea laced with drugs by its owner Surendra (40). After she fell unconscious, she was taken to a flat in New Friends Colony and raped by him and his friend Ravi (36).'' After she gained consciousness, she reported the matter to the NFC police station, police said.

After medical reports confirmed the rape, Surendra was arrested.

Ravi was still absconding.

The woman, who hails from Kashmir, lived with her parents in Nizamuddin area after her husband's death two years back.

Her parents, who dealt in selling shawls, had gone to Srinagar two days back.
