United Spirits net up by 33.7%
New Delhi, Jul 21 (UNI) Bangalore-based United Spirits Ltd, country's leading liquor manufacturer posted 33.7 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 117.13 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 87.58 crore in the same period previous year.
The company's total income also surged 32.4 per cent to Rs 1,020.57 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 770.57 crore in the corresponding period previous year.
