Tom Cruise to sizzle again in Top Gun sequel?

London, July 21 : The makers of Top Gun are planning a sequel to the 80s super hit and according to the grapevine Tom Cruise may just be sporting his aviator shades once again.

The sequel will have Hollywood heartthrob Cruise in his original role of pilot Maverick but this time he would be an instructor dealing with a cocky trainee.

"The idea is Maverick is at the 'Top Gun' school as an instructor - and this time it is he who has to deal with a cocky new female pilot," The Sun quoted an insider, as saying.

The outline script is already ready and all that is needed is the nod from Cruise himself.
