Opposition leader L K Advani is the first person to speak against Confidence motion. He said, "I am opposing the motion moved by Prime Minister. The present government is a minority. To me it appears as Govt is paralysed. Government is talking more of N-deal than of Inflation. He also said the govt is destabilised thats why it is seeking Confidence motion.

Rahul Gandhi is one of the UPA leaders to speak in support of the motion. Advani described UPA government is like a patient in ICU.
