Miscreants loot Rs 10.2 lakh from broker's house

Mumbai, Jul 21 (UNI) Miscreants robbed Rs 10.2 lakh from a share sub-broker's house at Worli in southcentral Mumbai.

Police said here today that the share sub-broker Surajmal Jathmal Jain (49) had gone out with his family for shopping yesterday. At around 1430 hrs, the accused broke the house's window panel to and entered.

They took gold and diamond jewellery worth Rs 2.70 lakh and cash of Rs 7.5 lakh, a total booty of worth Rs 10.2 lakh few the coop.

When Jains came back in the evening, they found everything messed up and reported the police.

A Manhunt had been launched.
