Mamata to announce her decision on July 21
Kolkata, Jul 21: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee will announce her decision on Monday, July 21 whether she will attend the Lok Sabha for the crucial trust vote or not. On Sunday, July 20 evening Mamta said, “A section of the media has said that I am not attending the Lok Sabha for the trust vote.
I can tell you that I have not spoken to the media in the matter and whatever they have written is their own opinion." She added that her decision to attend the Lok Sabha would be taken by the party collectively. Speculations are high that Trinamool Congress which has one vote that is of Mamata Banerjee will abstain from trust vote.
The two-day special session of the Lok Sabha will begin in New Delhi on Monday where the trust vote by the UPA government will be taken up. The special session is being held after Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh expressed his desire to seek a trust vote in the wake of Left parties withdrawing support.
