Eduardo to open global Goans convention in Toronto on Jul 23

Panaji, Jul 21 (UNI) Goa's Commissioner for NRI Affairs Eduardo Faleiro will inaugurate the Global Goans Convention in Toronto, Canada on July 23.

The Director of NRI Affairs, Mr U D Kamat will accompany him.

The Convention is being organised by Goanetters Association of Toronto along with the Goans Overseas Association and other organisations of Goan expatriates in Canada.

As per an earlier decision, the annual Global Goan Convention is now being held in different countries so as to attract a larger number of expatriates.

At the suggestion of the Ministry of External Affairs, Mr Faleiro will also visit Brazil, where he will meet Goan expatriates, other people of Indian origin and Brazilian Ministers.
