BHEL Q1 net up by 33%

New Delhi, Jul 21 (UNI) Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) today said its net profit zoomed 33 per cent to Rs 384.41 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 288.91 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The company's total income has also increased 34.3 per cent to Rs 4,620.98 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 3,440.24 crore in the same period a year earlier.
